With AEP PRO it is possible to encrypt, decrypt and securely erase files. There are several methods to perform operations: process files from main program, from Windows Explorer (AEP PRO integrates nicely with Windows 7, Vista, XP shell context menu) or from powerful command line utility.

AEP PRO uses ~20 encryption algorithms (like AES 256-bit) to protect sensitive documents as well as this program supports asymmetric encryption (RSA 512-2048 bit).

It can create self-decrypting versions of your encrypted files - the recipient of this file will not need to have AEP PRO to decrypt document.

This software supports any kind of USB Flash Drive to keep the list of strong encryption/decryption keys, so there is no need to try to remember complex passwords - all these passwords can be protected by single master password on your usb flash drive.

Additionally, AEP PRO integrates with Windows Clipboard and can encrypt/decrypt text messages in it (you can copy/paste scrambled text messages to email message or instant messaging program).

Moreover, this encryption software has special 'password quality' indicator to help you choose non-weak passwords.

The recipients of encrypted files can use freeware program Crypt4Free to decrypt received encrypted files.

The latest version includes ability to edit encrypted documents in single mouse click. Just click it, provide password, and the file will be automatically decrypted, opened in the associated application and reencrypted again when the application is closed.

This program is compatible with Windows 7 as well as with Windows Vista and XP.

Don't buy this software. Rubbish after sales service. I gave these people my money and in return they have given me zero support. I had to reinstall windows and so lost the program files. I've asked them if they can help and they simply ignore the emails. So now I have encrypted files and no way to access them. Terrible service.
